Results with Botox typically last 3 to 4 months, although individual experiences may vary. Your results will be impacted by your lifestyle and your body’s metabolism.
Botox and filler achieve different types of results. Dermal fillers help restore volume and lift the skin to enhance your features, whereas Botox targets the muscles. Depending on your desired results, we can often combine filler and Botox for our clients.
Botox does not normally require any recovery time. It is strongly recommended that you avoid exercising for at least 24 hours after injection. Increased blood flow to the injection site can cause undesired results as the botox spreads out further than intended.
Botox isn’t considered a painful treatment. The needles we use for the injections are nearly the smallest needles available. 30 gauge needles are the standard size for botox injections and the smallest needles available are 32 gauge (about the diameter of two strands of hair!) Discomfort caused by a needle of this size is minimal.
